Logistics Management and Administration Study Program

The Logistics Management and Administration Study Program (MAL) of the Vocational School, Diponegoro University, is a vocational education program focused on preparing highly skilled and professional graduates in the fields of logistics, supply chain management, warehousing, transportation, and export-import operations.

The rapid development of global industries has significantly transformed logistics management practices, creating an increasing demand for professionals who possess expertise in supply chain management, warehousing, logistics transportation, and international trade. In response to these challenges, the MAL Study Program is committed to producing adaptive and competent graduates capable of responding to industry changes. These developments include advancements in warehouse management systems, enterprise resource planning integration, and digital technologies such as Electronic Warehouse Management Systems (EWMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), which contribute to improved operational efficiency and business effectiveness.

Through a practice-oriented curriculum, applied projects, and collaboration with industry partners, students are equipped with competencies in logistics administration, export-import operations, warehouse supervision, entrepreneurship, and digital logistics information systems (E-Logistics).

As part of the Vocational Excellence initiative, the Logistics Management and Administration Study Program continuously strengthens industry-relevant learning through the development of the Teaching Factory (TEFA) VOCA LINK (Vocational Link and Industry). TEFA VOCA LINK serves as a practical learning platform designed to provide students with real-world experiences in strategic sectors including logistics, international trade, risk management, and distribution.

As an integrated learning center, TEFA VOCA LINK operates through three main service units: VOCA Export Import, VOCA Risk and Insurance, and VOCA Delivery.

Through VOCA Export Import, students gain practical experience in international trade activities, export-import documentation management, customs procedures, international logistics, and export-oriented MSME development. VOCA Risk and Insurance enhances students’ competencies in logistics risk management and insurance, covering risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies to support supply chain continuity. Meanwhile, VOCA Delivery focuses on distribution management and delivery services, including distribution planning, fleet management, last-mile delivery operations, and the utilization of digital technologies in modern logistics practices.

Through TEFA VOCA LINK, students not only acquire theoretical knowledge in the classroom but also engage directly in projects, simulations, services, and collaborations with industry partners. This approach strengthens the implementation of the “link and match” concept between vocational education and industry needs, ensuring graduates possess practical competencies, professionalism, and strong employability. Furthermore, TEFA VOCA LINK supports the MAL Study Program’s vision of creating an innovative, adaptive, and competency-based learning ecosystem while contributing to society, MSMEs, and industry development.

The Logistics Management and Administration Study Program places Digital Visibility and Global Reputation as one of its key educational development priorities. Students are encouraged to understand and practice modern logistics management processes, ranging from procurement, warehousing, transportation, and logistics operations to the delivery of products and services to customers.

To strengthen Global Employability, the program offers foreign language courses including English for Logistics and Mandarin Chinese. MAL also supports the Vocational Migrant Corner (VMC) initiative through foreign language development and training programs mandated by the Vocational School. The program provides information and guidance for students interested in participating in international internships, student exchange programs such as IISMA, and short courses at overseas universities. Through these facilities and opportunities, students are well-prepared to compete in the global logistics industry.

As part of the UNDIP Vocational Excellence Ecosystem 2030, the Logistics Management and Administration Study Program is committed to producing graduates who are competent, professional, creative, and innovative in supply chain management and institutional reputation development in the digital era.

Guided by the spirit of “From Vocational Excellence to Global Recognition,” the Logistics Management and Administration Study Program continues to contribute to the realization of the Vocational School’s vision of becoming a World-Class Vocational School by 2030. The program also strengthens its international academic network by expanding global partnerships, increasing international student participation in UNDIP academic programs, and organizing the UNDIP Global Classroom initiative. These efforts facilitate knowledge sharing from international scholars and create positive impacts not only for the MAL Study Program but also for society at both national and global levels.
